LOGGING

We obtain our wood from the Gabonese forests, that are operated under a Sustainable Forest Management Convention (CFAD) and FSC certifications.. Needless to say, our forests is a home for several exotic species of wood holding high commercial values and very suitable for various types of further downstream processing activities. Beside Okoume, exotic species such as Keva, Beli, Ebiara, Ovangkol, Dibetou,Tali Padouk, Doussie, Bilinga, Azobe, Acajou and etc are also found in abundance.

WoodPro owns a wide variety of world class logging machineries, fleet of transport vehicles and road maintenance machineries to carry out it’s Logging operations. The annual production capacity is approximately 100,000m3 of round logs of logs.

We own a state of the art Sawmill equipped with fully automated machines including 4 bandsaw production lines and 2 horizontal saws in total, which is used to process the logs into well-defined sawn timbers with cleaned edges.
With an annual production capacity of 40,000 CBM, Woodpro leads the market in production of Sawn timber.Sawing, cutting, and refining of the raw logs into finished timber is done with extreme delicacy and quality checks. ‘Picking up the right wood – to give it the perfect finish’ sets our quality trademark. Our specifications are adapted to the market requirements.
And our FSC certified Sawn Timber is always a preferred choice among our elite customers.The finished sawn timber is transported to Woodpro Container Handling Terminal.
We offer a range of excellent quality of Sawn Timber obtained from the Exotic Woods of Gabon. Sawing, cutting, and refining of the raw logs into finished timber is done with extreme delicacy and quality checks. We offer Sawn Timber is the preferred dimension of our clients. Woodpro runs one of the largest and ultra modern Kiln Drying plant in Gabon. This Kiln Drying plant is handled by a trained team of highly experienced professionals. They efficiently provide complete packaging services of bundling, stenciling and plastic wrapping.
We have annual capacity of drying 48000 m³ of Timber.
